2016 Christmas

The Lord is Risen indeed! Hallelujah! Easter Events and Services


Family Fun Easter Egg Party (Friendship Club), Wednesday 12th April, 3pm – 5pm
. All welcome for food, fun and free chocolate eggs! Leaders meeting Tuesday 11th April 5pm at the church.

Wednesday 12th April, Readings and Prayer for Holy Week, 7.30pm – 8.45pm. Wednesday 19th April, Resurrection readings and praise, 7.30pm – 8.45pm. (No Wednesday Bible study 26th April)

Special Good Friday Walk behind the cross with Readings/ Stations of the cross. Ecumenical Gathering, beginning at 12 midday at St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church of Ireland and following on to the Augustinian Church. All welcome to this special time of song and prayer and readings, as we witness together.

Easter Sunday, The Lord is Risen Indeed! We join together at 11.30am for a special Holy Communion Family Service, celebrating and rejoicing in the Resurrection!

Sunday 2nd April we welcome Mrs Josephine Masawi, Lay Preacher, Methodist Church in Ireland to lead our service of worship.

Clean-Up Morning, Saturday 1st April (first Saturday of the month), 10am- 12 midday. Thanks to all who took part.

Palm Sunday and Special ‘God’s Mission Our Mission’ Service , Sunday 9th April, 11.30am. We welcome Rev Dr Julian (Jools) Hamilton. Discussion and Church Lunch afterwards, all invited to join in.

Ignite Youth Group, meeting at 7.30pm on Friday 7th and Friday 21st April, for fun and fellowship, as we grow more in our walk with Jesus. All teenagers welcome to come along.

Holy Communion and Baptisms, Sunday 5t h March, 11.30am.

World Day of Prayer Service on Friday 3r d March, 7.30pm. All welcome.

Wednesday Bible Study on Wednesday 8t h and Wednesday 1s t , 15t h , 22n d and 30t h March, 7.30pm – 9pm. All welcome.

Confirmation Classes for Teenagers and Adult Full Membership Classes , both happening in March. Speak to Helen for more details.

Open Door starting back on Saturdays soon. Please speak to Helen or Nicholas for more information.

On Sunday 26t h March we welcome local Bible Teacher and visiting preacher, Mr. John Shelton, who will lead our service.

General

Sunday morning Service at 11.30am each week.

Praise Group meets for practice every Saturday from 5pm – 6pm at the church, all are welco me. Please speak to Eunice for more details.

Prayer Time for the persecuted church (Church in Chains Galway) happens the first and third Friday of the month, 8pm – 10 pm. Please speak to Ajoy or Chitra for more information.

If you have a prayer request for the Prayer Chain to pray over, please contact Helen, on 0864677888.

Children are welcome to attend Sunday school after the Offering.

Parents of young children (under 3’s) are welcome to use the small side room during the service, where there are toys and where one can hear the service through the sound system. Parents/ guardians must supervise their child/ children in the room at all times, also during the tea/ coffee time. All parents/ guardians must fill out a consent form if their child is going to Sunday School.

There are parking vouchers on the announcement board. If attending the church, please take one and put it on your dashboard if parking in an on- street car parking space near the church and you will not need to pay for a parking ticket while at church on Sunday morning. (Only park in designated car parking spaces or your car may be clamped!)
